Chapter 1: Why Most Approaches Fail — and What Actually Works

You have already read the quotes. You have already tried the affirmations. You have stared at vision boards with such intensity you can see them in your sleep. And yet, here you are, a few months later, sitting in the same chair, earning the same salary, and most importantly, making the same choices that led you to seek help in the first place. We call this problem Narrative Drift. It is the slow, invisible process by which your present-day life starts being run by a story written by a much younger, much more frightened version of you.
