The term "advice card" refers to a specific, functional piece of stationery or digital content designed to elicit and record a short, structured piece of guidance from a guest or participant at a celebration, milestone event, or structured group activity. It is not a generic note card. An advice card has a defined purpose, a defined physical or digital format, and a defined workflow that governs how it is distributed, completed, and collected. In the most common form, it is a paper card distributed to guests at a wedding, retirement party, graduation, or anniversary, inviting each guest to write a piece of practical or sentimental advice for the honoree(s). The cards are often collected in a decorative box, jar, or album. But the category also includes more structured formats used in corporate team-building events, school farewells, and community milestone celebrations.
