Chapter 1: Understanding Feminine Deodorant
Feminine deodorant is a personal care product designed to reduce or eliminate perceived vaginal and vulvar odor. It is a distinct category within feminine hygiene, separate from sanitary pads, tampons, and washes. The product is not a treatment for any medical condition, and it does not prevent pregnancy or sexually transmitted infections. Its sole intended function is odor management, typically applied to the external genital area (the vulva) or to the inner surface of underwear.
