First, let me be honest about what day one is not. It is not the day you learn to memorize a shuffled deck of cards or 500 random digits. You are not going to become a memory athlete in 30 minutes. The internet is full of videos that make this look effortless — a person closes their eyes for five minutes, then recites a list of 47 items perfectly backward.
