Chapter 1: First Day
Welcome, honestly, that's the first thing to know. You're here because you've watched a speedrun and thought "I could try that" or "how do they even do that?" and tomorrow you might click back to a normal YouTube video and forget about this. That's fine. The goal today isn't to make you a speedrunner; it's to let you feel what a speedrunning session actually is without any pressure.
Let's kill the biggest myth right away: speedrunning is not a hobby for cyborgs with infinite spare time.
