★★★★★I bought this expecting a more technical dive into materials and manufacturing, so I was a little disappointed that the first chapter starts from such a basic level. The framing for how to judge tube flexibility and valve flow rates is good, and the comparison of different reservoir shapes is genuinely useful. The writing is dry, but it's solid. I just wish it had assumed the reader was a bit more advanced. It'll probably be more useful to me as a reference down the line than as a cover-to-cover read.
