I also found the business opportunities chapter a little overreaching for a handbook. Still, it's the most complete thing I've read on the subject.

The installation chapter in particular is gold — I'd never seriously considered how a slight cant in a mounting adapter could throw off slope readings at range until I read the explanation on alignment. Finally, someone wrote the book I kept trying to assemble myself from forum posts and PDFs. The sections on ballistic turrets and auxiliary magnifiers are concise and cut through marketing nonsense. I appreciated the emphasis on practical tolerances over manufacturer hype. The troubleshooting section on lenses fogging under rain covers is already saving me time. It sits on my workshop bench now.
